Hugick Pottery LLC is back in production… wanted to share a few pics of my recent work.
Best is yet to come…. From this past week’s firing, I have a limited amount of mugs for sale on our garlic farm website within the order section.

Feels great to get back into some production pottery.
I had 50’ish pots that didn’t fit into our recent Anagama kiln firing we just completed (unload on Monday evening). Earlier this morning pots were 400F, but I had to take a peek on my experimenting with new clay body, old glazes, and learning to fire another gas (Bailey propane kiln 10R).

Was nice to give back to SUNY Fredonia as an Alumni hosting a Simon Leach Workshop yesterday. The +30 of us all had a great time, was awesome to have my favorite two teachers/Prof together (see pic: Simon Leach, Marvin Bjurlin and me.) I'm looking forward to finishing my home studio and restocking my inventory in 2022.

Hugick Pottery is in Fredonia today (noon- 3 pm) to support Annual Empty Bowls fundraiser. Please join us & keep safe with masks and social distancing.

There won’t be any soup served at Empty Bowls due to COVID-19 restrictions, but the annual fundraiser will nevertheless be held on Saturday, Nov. 14, from noon to 3 p.m., to raise money to help feed the hungry in Chautauqua County.
