Thank you for your service and ultimate sacrifice!!!

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated joins the world in remembering the life and legacy of Sergeant Kennedy Sanders, a brave soldier who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Sergeant Sanders is the daughter of Soror Oneida Oliver-Sanders, a member of the Waycross (GA) Alumnae Chapter in the Southern Region.

Sergeant Sanders exemplified courage, dedication, and selflessness throughout her service in the military. Her commitment to protecting our freedoms and upholding the values we hold dear will always be remembered and honored.

Sorors of the Southern Region (and beyond) are invited to show support to the family and Soror Oliver-Sanders by wearing a violet on February 17, 2024. The funeral service is scheduled for February 17, 2024, at 11 AM in Ware County Middle School Auditorium and will include a regal processional through the City of Waycross after the service.
