Mythical birthday cake for my sisters!
Decorations are both buttercream and dried royal icing.
The cake itself is half carrot cake with whipped cream and chocolate buttercream (the night side).
The other half is vanilla cake with whipped cream, strawberry filling, and vanilla buttercream (the day side). Thank you to Katie Ogren and Sarah Ogren for your immense help, it's very appreciated.

🥧 Thursday, October 23, 11 am to 1 pm: Sweet Potato Pie with Toasty Meringue Top

The Wandering Whisk Bakery is partnering with Miss Katies Kitchen this week for special holiday baking classes! Three days of pie spread out over October 23-25.
Thursday- Home-baked lattice-top apple pie
Friday- Smooth, creamy chocolate mousse pie
Saturday- Southern classic sweet potato pie with a toasty meringue topping

Only three spots available per day per class.
You'll learn how to make homemade pie crust and different fillings by a professional pastry chef.

Thursday at 11 am to 1 pm
Friday at 6 pm to 8 pm
Saturday at 11 am to 1 pm

Students will take home their own mini pie, full recipes, and pie crust to turn into their own creations, along with the skills and techniques for the best-tasting pies around!

All ages and skill levels are welcome.
Classes are discounted at $35 per student per class.
