It’s almost time to celebrate! 🎉
Out with The old and on to a new year and bigger and better things for one and all. I have a feeling that 2026 is going to be very special.

As 2025 comes to a close, I wanted to share an update with everyone. As most of you know, I listed the cookie company for sale earlier this year because we also listed our home for sale and were leaving Pawleys Island.

After talking with many interested buyers the past few months, I made the decision to close completely, pack up the business, and am taking it with me to reopen once we get settled again. I will post an update here when that happens, but will also put together an email list to message folks directly when that happens too, so if you want to be kept in the loop - and don’t want to gamble on if FB shows you the post or not - message me your email address and I will send future 🍪cookie 🍪 updates directly to you!

I LOVE this parade! It has so many floats, bands, and is just so festive with a focus on this wonderful community and all the groups that make it special .

The parade is at 11 down front street and the Holiday Market is getting set up at Kaminski House Museum now - so make a day of it and bring the family to Georgetown, South Carolina today! 🎄

As you may have heard by the noise coming from the river these last couple of mornings…..It is “Duck Season” in South Carolina.

I thought it might be fun to roll out a new flavor that celebrates this annual event and gets us all in the holiday spirit. Check out “Duck. Duck. Boom!” At your favorite Pawleys Island stores this week. It is a delicious gingerbread cookie with pieces of fresh ginger in it for extra pops of flavor.

One of the things I love about living in the South is that people still matter around here.

Today is Memorial Day. To many it is the “kick off to summer” , but to all those who have lost a loved one, particularly through service to our great nation, it is so much more. It’s a day to honor them and remember all the things that were so very special about that person. 🇺🇸🥲

At Hammock Coast Cookies, I celebrate the things that make the SC Lowcountry special with each flavor of cookie I make.

Remembering those who serve so we can live free is part of that. This week two limited time cookies become available again and will be in stores thru the 4th of July - pick up a “Celebrate Freedom” or a “Salute From The Shore” cookie and as you eat it - please remember all those who made our freedom possible.
