It’s with a full heart and a lot of reflection that I share this news: beginning in the new year, I will be closing my cookie business for the foreseeable future. I’m not sure yet what the future will hold (whether this is a pause or a true ending) but I do know it’s what I need at this time.
One of the biggest factors in this decision is the new food dye ban, which takes effect in 2026. While I truly love the health benefits of natural dyes, the cost to replace my entire collection (dyes, sprinkles, airbrush colors, and more) is simply not in my budget at this time. Many of these alternatives cost up to ten times more for much smaller amounts, and paired with the rise in inflation over the last few years, it has become increasingly difficult to operate in a sustainable way.
If you’d like one last taste of my cookies before I close, I am accepting a few more Christmas orders this month. Whether you need a dozen to share at your holiday gatherings or sweet little 2–4 cookie boxed sets for stockings and gifts, I would love to bake for you one more time. Please message me as soon as possible to snag a last-minute spot!
To every customer who has supported me over the past five years: Thank you!! You gave me the opportunity to create, to learn, to grow, and to share joy one cookie at a time. I have cherished every order and every design. Each one has meant more to me than you know.
As I step back, I’m looking forward to giving more of myself to my family, my friends, my health, and my career. This season of rest and refocusing is something I’ve been needing, and I’m grateful to be able to take it.
Thank you for five incredible years. Thank you for cheering me on. And thank you for letting me be a small part of your celebrations, milestones, and memories. Your support has been a gift I will carry with me always. ❤️
