J&K Ingredients, Inc., a division of Sausville Foods, Inc., is a family business. It began in 1899, the year Frank Sausville joined his father, Joseph, to form what was then called J. Ever since, we've been a leading manufacturer of quality products for the world's bakery industry. Our first factory was located on Greenwich Avenue in New York City. In 1949, we moved to a modern plant in New Jersey

; and today, we continue to do business in the state. Through the years, part of the company evolved into a wholesale muffin business. In the 1980s, this division was responsible for introducing such innovative items as "mini" muffins and pre-deposited muffins. The division, along with the temporary use of the Sausville name, was sold in 1990. Today, James and other members of the Sausville family continue the tradition of manufacturing innovative, natural products for the baking industry. More than two decades ago, we introduced natural mold inhibitors and natural "flavor systems" to the industry. And now, our Bred-Mate, Moldban and Restore products are recognized around the world as the best all-natural ingredients for increasing shelf life and enhancing natural flavor and aroma. For the last 100 years, the Sausville name has stood for "Fine as can be produced." We have reached this benchmark, and will continue to uphold it, by:
