While we have traditionally closed for the holiday weekends, we had staff in place and plans to stay open for our community this year. The universe had other plans and our cook is under the weather and down for the weekend :(

So we apologize for the late notice, but we will be closed this holiday season, our kids are looking forward to a few days up in the woods at our family cabin, they are getting older and we only have a few of these weekends left, we cant disappoint ❤️

We are sorry for the inconvenience and closures, and are grateful to our community for the continued understanding and support

This is just a reminder that wr will be closed from 11am-4pm tomorrow, Friday April 17th for the memorial of our friend and patron

We will be open 7-11am for breakfast only, then back up from 4-7 for fish fry and chicken scampi

Yesterday we recieved a call, no one wants, learning one of our beloved patrons had passed away 💔 Mike was more than just a customer, he was here almost daily and would be seen up in the window, watching Main St, quietly enjoying his coffee and the same breakfast every day. We had perfected his limpy bacon, lightly done toast, eggs cooked over easy and just the right amount of golden hashbrowns. Our cooks would watch for his truck between 11-12 and try to see how fast they could serve his breakfast, sometimes even beating his coffee to the table. He would let us know if it wasn't quite up to his standards and the "What took so longs" and "about times" were always followed by a warm smile. Now you are gone and you leave an empty seat in all our hearts. For the next week, we will be honoring Mike by reserving his seat. We will also be collecting donations for his family to help cover any final expenses. And lastly, We will be closing next friday from 11am-4pm for our staff to attend his memorial. Limpy Bacon will never cook the same
