I’m sure many of you have already guessed, but I wanted to share personally — I’ve officially sold the bakery. Due to ongoing health issues, I had to make the difficult decision to step away.
This chapter in Parkville on Main Street has been one of the most special experiences of my life. I have loved every second of creating food and memories for all of you. The friendships, the conversations, and the sense of community will always hold a special place in my heart.
Thank you for supporting us, believing in us, and letting us be a small part of your lives. We’ll miss it more than words can say.
While this chapter is closing, an exciting new one is beginning. Keep an eye out for my next adventure — a boutique gift basket company — where every gift basket is thoughtfully curated with products from other small businesses. I’ll be switching over this page soon to reflect the new journey, so stay tuned as it becomes GiftedKansasCity. I hope you’ll continue to follow along and support us as we grow this new chapter together!
I want to give a HUGE welcome to the new owner of The Baker’s Table, Catherine Coughennower, the talent behind Frosted by Catherine Custom Cakes & Desserts! You’ll still find your favorites like our biscuits & gravy, quiche, soups, and our famous chocolate cream pie 🤗 But get ready for Catherine’s incredible freshly baked sourdough bread, creamy cheesecakes, cakes, cinnamon rolls, cookies & cupcakes as well!
