Five years ago today, my little pandemic hobby of baking macarons developed into a little side business. Somewhere between the almond flour and eggs whites, the failed batches, the tiny victories, and the colorful creations, Mountain Mama Macarons was born.
Over the past five years, I've made more than 14,000 macarons (!!!), something I never would have imagined when I baked that very first disastrous batch.
This little business has given me so much more than a creative outlet. It's been therapeutic, a way to slow down, challenge myself, and create something that brings joy to other people. Through busy seasons, stressful seasons, and celebrations, making macarons has remained one of my favorite ways to recharge and express my creativity.
I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who has ordered macarons, shared Mountain Mama Macarons with a friend, trusted me with your weddings, birthdays, baby showers, holidays, and other special moments, or simply encouraged me along the way. Your support has allowed this little venture to continue, and I couldn't be more thankful. Five years later, I'm still having fun, still learning, and still finding joy in every batch I make.
Thank you for being part of this sweet journey. Here's to five amazing years of Mountain Mama Macarons, and whatever comes next.
