Hi everyone! I know I kind of disappeared after December, and I’m sorry if that left anyone wondering. After some thought, I’ve decided to officially step away from my home bakery for now.

Baking is still something I love, but running the business took away some of that joy. I’m so thankful to everyone who supported me at the farmers markets, ordered from me, and encouraged me along the way—it truly meant the world. 💛

I’ll always be grateful for this chapter and the amazing community that came with it.

We will be at Farmers and Artisan Market - Paris, Texas this Saturday from 11am-1pm. We will have a limited supply of product. So If you’d like to pre-order a loaf of our artisan sourdough or jalapeño cheddar sourdough please message us by Wednesday morning so we can hold a loaf for you this Saturday. We wouldn’t want you to miss out 😊

If you bought a loaf of sourdough today and want to have it fresh for Thanksgiving here is how you freeze a loaf and refresh it 😊

How to freeze your sourdough loaf

Freezing a whole loaf:

Take your uncut loaf and wrap it thoroughly in plastic wrap. This is to make sure it is well-
protected in the freezer! I often place the wrapped loaf in a Ziploc bag for safekeeping.
Once it is sealed, place it in your freezer.

When you are ready to refresh your loaf, place it on the counter to thaw completely. I’ll
often let it thaw overnight so it’s ready in the morning.

Preheat oven to 400°.

Remove the loaf from its plastic wrap, and quickly run it under cold water. Yes, get it
genuinely wet in the sink! This is going to rehydrate the loaf.

Bake directly on the rack for 10 minutes. enjoy your perfectly fresh bread!

Freezing Slices:

Cut your loaf into slices and store them in a freezer Ziploc bag. Place it into your freezer.
When you are ready for a slice, simply refresh it in your toaster!
