Little Debbies are such a nostalgic snack. My Grammie had a cookie jar on her counter that she kept filled with my favorites. When I spent the day with her, around 2pm we would have "a little snack" and split a pack together.

Running a cottage bakery isn't just decorating cake and baking cookies. Sometimes, it's spreadsheets and supply orders and planning for the next big bake (while watching old episodes of Bake Off for inspiration).

I am so appreciative to everyone who bought a treat box last week! I hope you all enjoyed eating the goodies as much as I enjoyed making them!

Let's talk about TWO of my favorites in this month’s box…
First up: Bacon Cheddar Chive Scones 🥓 Savory, buttery, a little flaky, packed with sharp cheddar, crispy bacon, and fresh chives. These are the kind of thing you grab “just to try” and then suddenly they’re gone.

And then on the completely opposite (but equally amazing) end of the spectrum…

Lemon Rosemary Sugar Cookie Bars 🍋 Soft, bright, and just a little unexpected. The lemon keeps them fresh and zingy, and the rosemary adds that subtle something that makes people go “wait… what is that?!” in the best way.

This box is really all about balance. A little sweet, a little savory, but all absolutely delicious.

I’m officially launching the first Monthly Treat Box from Valerie’s Bake Shop, and I’m so excited to share the April box with you…

✨ The Bake Shop Classics Box ✨

This one is filled with the tried-and-true treats that everyone is always asking me for.

Each box will include:
• Bacon Cheddar Chive Scones
• Lemon Rosemary Sugar Cookie Bars
• Carrot Cake
• Brown Butter Chocolate Chunk Cookies
• Seriously Fudgy Brownies
PLUS a small surprise piece of art, created by me 🎨

Here are the details you need to get on the list for the first of what is soon to be a regular monthly event:
$60 per box
Pickup: Saturday, April 25 in St Andrews
