Testimony from the Surf Shop - Sunday 5/31/26:
It was another wild and busy day at the surf shop, appointment after divine appointment, back to back all day. A few highlights. The first one was a man who is (was) in liver failure…his wife slipped Cindy a business card because we were so busy, and because I was praying with someone, and on the card she wrote something to this effect “could you please pray for us, my husband is in liver failure, we saw you on facebook, we are believers, thank you God bless”…..then she walked out the front door. Well, Cindy read the note shortly after, and of course I was just finishing praying, so Cindy ran out to catch her. They were sitting out front and her and her husband came in. We met and talked. I told him that just yesterday another man shared his testimony of Jesus healing him of stage four liver cancer - so it was no coincidence that I had a testimony to share before they came in for prayer - we overcome by the blood of The Lamb and the word of our testimony - and now we had both! We sat on the bench, covered him and his wife with the tallit, anointed his hands, feet and neck with oil along with him rubbing oil over his liver. He had quadruple bypass surgery a few years ago and then this liver diagnosis. We prayed….Holy Spirit met with them both….we declared the Word of healing, canceled the assignment of the enemy, and spoke life into His body. When we were finished He said “whoa”……as we all could feel His presence with us! They both were so grateful as they heard that “Mr.Surf’s was the place to be prayed over for healing”. What’s a cool
layer to this testimony, is the previous appointment that I had prayed for. Jesus drew in a mighty warrior, a young man hungry for “more”. He also heard of Mr.Surf, and what God is doing here - so he drove in from Lynn Haven to find out what’s going on. He encountered Jesus 3 years ago, and has been on a journey with Him since. I was able to share deeper truths, and encourage him and then we prayed. I asked if he had received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and he said he has been seeking, but not 100% sure - I anointed him, prayed over him, and Holy Spirit invaded his space. He could feel the power and love of the Holy Spirit …..he is a mighty man of God and will also be getting baptized in the ocean with us as God leads him in that timing. What’s cool is immediately after we finished that prayer, Holy Spirit wanted this young man to join me in prayer over the healing of this man liver. He was just minutes “new” in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and the Lord already had an assignment!!! This stuff never gets old, Jesus is so amazing and so are these believers that are contending for their miracle!!! We just join them in faith day after day! lighthouse.fam
