We are adding new breads in October. I am giving you all an assignment...

We want your input. We want to choose a bread from one of you and name it for the entire month whatever you want to name it.

Also...Whoever's bread we choose will receive their bread free of charge.

One last thing...We are also going to start our contests again. The contest will begin October 1st and end October 31st.

Here are the rules....
You must put your best picture on Facebook of the item you purchased from Rogers Crest Baking Company. We are looking for creativity...We are looking for funny...We would love you to add your family, or pets to the picture. Your picture enters you in the contest...The best picture will win a bread, bagels, rolls, bialys, or anything on our menu of choice free of charge.

Plus...Mr. & Mrs. Rogers will hand deliver them to you at your home. If it's bagels, rolls, bialys, you will win a dozen. If its a bread, you will be able to choose whichever one you want.

The winner will be announced the first week of November. You will receive a call from us letting you know you won, and at that time you can choose from our menu. We will then schedule your drop off.

Hello Everyone,

We are back from our Hawaii vacation. We went to Kona. It was amazing. We celebrated my Birthday Aug 9th, our 40th Wedding Anniversary, Aug 17th, our together Anniversary Aug 27th, and Brent's Birthday August 28th. We got back late August 30th.

We brought our son and bonus daughter, plus our 2 grandchildren.

The Memories we made will last a lifetime.

With that said..We are ready for orders and excited to serve you.

Wow!! We hit 900 followers today...We are so excited.

We are just a small business here in the AV with our cottage license, that started a Sourdough baking company almost 7 years ago. We do not do pop ups, or fairs, here at Rogers Crest, we believe in fresh bread, not breads that are baked days prior to the event. Also all of our breads are made very special per our customers requests the same day. Everything we do is by word of mouth, or if I post I tag other groups to open it up more...

We never intended on being the largest baking company in the AV at our age, but had hoped and prayed that we would have loyal customers that loved our quality baked breads, rolls, bialys,and bagels, and had also hoped that our service, which we pride ourselves on, would be enough for our customers to tell a friend or family member about us so we can grow our business...And that is exactly how it all happened.

Thank you to all of the 900 people following Rogers Crest Baking Company. You have made our day. You truly do not know how much this means to us...

Here's to hoping and praying for 1,000 followers. :) Please tell a friend or family member, invite them to join, ask them to also invite people, and soon enough we will be at 1,000 followers.

Thank you to everyone who has ordered last week and this week. We are completely booked for next week.

It is unbelievable to us how many loyal customers we have. Never did we think 7 years ago we would be a part of your lives. Part of routines. So many of our customers do not buy store bought breads anymore. No added presevatives to any of our breads. They buy for the month and freeze them. Our breads freeze amazingly well. When Brent makes breads for us, we put them in freezer bags, mark the dates, and pull out as needed. Or he uses vacuum sealer. Works great.

Fact...Rogers Crest was one of the first at home bakeries in the AV to offer Sourdough. We had hoped the AV would welcome us with open arms...To our surprise, you all did just that...

Along came bagels, and Bialy's, egg bread, onion rolls, challah...And soon... 2 more brand-new Sourdough options...We can't tell you yet, but they are coming this fall. 😀

For those who celebrate Rosh Hashanah, it's that time again to get your orders in. We are already taking orders and our schedule will fill up fast.

We will be extending our business hours for the holidays. This year the holiday begin September 11th and ends September 13th. We will be open all 3 days, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. If you would like pick-up your order early on that Wednesday or Thursday before, not a problem. The breads will be fine and delicious.

During this short period of time we will only be producing our egg breads, which includes, braided challahs, both round and long, (plain or with inclusions) (see below), egg bread loaves, (also plain or with inclusions),and long onion rolls.

We will be back to making all of our other delicious products right after Rosh Hashanah.

To order, please text our cell phone number below, which is our work phone. Add your order, and the date you need these by. If you are new, please add your full name so we can add you to our schedule. We will confirm back right away and lock in your order, date and time.

Due to the high demand every year, please do not wait. Order asap.

All plain braided challahs, (round or long) are $15.00 each. (Unsliced only). Additional charges would apply per inclusion (See below).

We have tons of yummy inclusions to choose from...Poppy seeds, sesame seeds, (outside) regular raisins or golden raisins,(inside) and everything seasoning (outside). Each inclusion is $1.00 extra. (See pics below)

We hope everyone is enjoying their summer. I know we are.

We started this business almost 7 years ago. Hard to believe it's been that long. When we started we thought we wanted to open a brick and mortar, but after we really thought about, even talked to local businesses here in the AV, we decided not to.

If we were younger, yes, but at our age, we knew we wanted to have a business that we could work as many hours as we wanted, and close down if we wanted to so we could travel.

Our business has allowed us to do both, thankfully. We are so blessed. This has everything to do with our customers. Without you all we could not do this.

We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for "Always" allowing us to schedule you. Thank you for " Always" being so flexible. You really have no idea how much this has meant to us. This has allowed us the time to still have a life and create memories. Something we do not take for granted. Thank you all again, and again. We love you all.

With that said...Here is the rest of our summer schedule:

We will be open until August 14th. After this date we will he closed until September 3rd. We are going to Kona, Hawaii to celebrate 🥳 some huge milestones with our family.

My 60th Birthday August 9th, our 40th wedding Anniversary, August 17th, our Anniversary ❤️ of the day we got together 44 years ago, August 27th, and Brent's 65th Birthday, August 28th. August is our month, and life is too short not to. 😀

Until then...We are open and are busy... We hope to hear from you all soon.

We have room on our schedule. If you are ever interested, we also take orders placed in advance, and standing orders weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.

Remember..Bagel & Bialy days are Monday's, Wednesday's, and Friday's...

Some ask if they can also place their bread and roll orders on those days too. The answer is YES. You can order anything off our menu on those days as well. We just don't do bagels on Tuesdays or Thursdays.

Pick-up as early as 7:30am. Come get them when they are warm. :)

Gotta share our breakfast for dinner... Our favorite.

Brent made me an egg bread today. I was craving french toast...

If you haven't bought one of Brents egg breads and made french toast, you haven't lived.

This is the best french toast you'll ever eat. I cut the pieces real thick, add milk,vanilla and cinnamon into my eggs. Beat till all combined. Add the thick bread to the egg mixture till completely soaked, then fry it up in some real butter. I even add more cinnamon on top. Wouldn't be complete without your favorite syrup or jam.

This bread is really good to make bread pudding too. So is our cinnamon, brown sugar, with or without raisins Sourdough. This truly is our biggest selling item.

Sometimes you just have to indulge. Sometimes you just need some comfort food. Tonight we did both. :)
