Did you know our La Città heroes are all named after Italian cities? Many were inspired by some of our favorite moments traveling through Italy—the places, the flavors, and those meals you’re still thinking about long after you come home. 🥰

We brought a little of those memories back to our kitchen, then added something close to our New York hearts: our own NY-style hero bread, baked fresh right here every single day. 🥖

A little love from Bologna, coming to Mama Dory’s table this week. ❤️🇮🇹

When Brenton and I visited Bologna, it was winter and snowy, and we ate tortellini in broth every single day. There was something so comforting about sitting down to that warm, simple bowl after walking around in the cold. Those are the little memories that stay with you. 🥰

We’ve been missing that special time in Bologna lately and dreaming of going back soon. Until then, we’re bringing a little of it into our kitchen—and sharing it with our Italian Princess family. ❤️

Our soup of the week is Tortellini in Brodo, with meat-filled tortellini in a flavorful broth, and this week’s Mama Dory’s specials are getting a little Bologna-inspired love:

It’s Sunday… and in our family, that means it’s Sunday sauce time. ❤️🍝

Well… we didn’t call him The Fat King because he was having a light breakfast. 😂👑

Two sausage patties, Boar’s Head shaved ham, cheddar cheese, two fried eggs, and spicy sausage gravy… all piled onto our hot honey biscuits.

He’s a little extra. We’ve tried talking to him about it. He requested more gravy. 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

He’s making his royal debut today, and naturally, he expects a big welcome. 😂👑 Bring your appetite… and maybe wear the comfy pants. ❤️
