I want to thank everyone who stopped by to see me last evening for my final market. We sold out which was an excellent ending.
I want to thank my helpers, my two little cupcakes Ryleigh and Olive. My daughters have helped me so much during my prep from markets and many of my orders. They also have been so patient with me when I’m busy baking and unable to spend time with them. I want to thank my mom who has been my big helper and supporter. Driving me to all my markets and setting up, sitting with me through it all and hauling me back home driving me to and from stores to make these markets and all my orders happen. All on her only days off her work. Instead of taking time for herself she’s hustling every free moment she has to help me. The added stress she definitely doesn’t need but she’s pushed through that for me. Thank you to all my friends and family memes who have also taken their days off work or free time to help me to deliver my orders while I’ve been unable to deliver them myself.
Thank you to all the customers that have become friends, some as close as family. The other vendors at the vendor events and farmers markets who have supported me by purchasing items and sharing my posts or recommending me to their friends and family. To all the people who tagged my name or business on community pages. Thank you to Patty Perry for getting me involved in the Forbes House Charity events and helping me reach more customers while supporting a wonderful cause. Thank you to Jessie McKnight for entrusting me with the cupcakes for her company’s events, allowing me to gain more customers from Avery Dennison employees. Thank you to the churches who have supported me and my girls through prayer, and who have helped us financially when I was unable to make ends meet or Christmas’s happen these past two years. These churches found me through word of mouth and from trying my cupcakes at markets. Without them I wouldn’t have made it as far as I did. Thank you to all the couples who hired me to be a part of their BIG DAY and make their weddings dessert tables. Thank you to those beautiful pregnant ladies who allowed me to be a part of their baby showers and feed their guests Caliber Cupcakes while they celebrated you! Thank you to those who ordered sweets for their work meetings or work parties, Thank you to the countless people who gave me a chance and hired me to provide cakes and/or cupcakes for their birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, and graduations. Thank you to those who entrusted me with providing desserts during such trying times while they said good bye to loved ones and celebrated their families life. All these events were happy, funny, triumphant, or somber but they all needed a cake or dessert to help share in the celebration and honor of coworkers, friends and family, and you all chose me to help.
I have been honored by every order and every invite you have all requested. My business’s success financially has been greatly appreciated but the joy I have got from creating your orders and seeing the happiness on your face or in your posts has brought me so much more joy it’s indescribable. I wish I could continue this dream and one day I hope I can, but for now I have to close and focus on another way to support my family and clear these hurdles that are placed in my path. Thank you for every single order. Thank you all for the memories and experience, you’ve helped me grow💛🧁
