🍂🍩 MAYFIELD FRIENDS, WE’RE TAKING ONE TUESDAY OFF! 🍩🍂

With fall break here and so many families traveling, we decided this is the perfect week to give the Mayfield donut trailer a little rest too. 💛

So just for this Tuesday, we will NOT be making our Mayfield run.

PADUCAH AND METROPOLIS WILL STILL BE OPEN and running their normal schedules.

But Mayfield, don’t worry…

🚚🍩 WE WILL BE BACK NEXT TUESDAY, FULL FORCE AND READY TO LOAD THAT TRAILER DOWN AGAIN!

We’re using this little break to catch our breath, tackle a few unfinished projects, and come back ready for another big Tuesday with all of you.

David Bentley Art adoption.

🎨 A LITTLE DIFFERENT KIND OF STORAGE-UNIT FIND

I buy storage units as a side hustle, and normally the goal is pretty straightforward: find things, clean them up, and find somebody who wants them.

But this one feels different.

Inside one unit I found an entire collection of original artwork that appears to have belonged to an artist named David Bentley.

Some are beautiful. Some are strange. Some are dark. Some are loud as hell. And some clearly meant something very personal to whoever painted them.

I don’t feel right treating them like random merchandise and putting $20 stickers on them.

So I’d like to do something different.

We’re going to find these paintings homes.

Each piece will be available for an “adoption donation,” and 100% of the money collected will go to charity.

Take home an original piece of art. Hang it somewhere. Talk about it. Wonder what David was thinking when he painted it.

Because whatever his story was, somebody created all of this.

I don’t want that story to end in a dumpster. ❤️

Pick up is in Reidland or at the shop.
