Our special for this weekend is Strawberry Shortcake!
A tender cream scone sandwiched with strawberry jam, whipped chantilly and some diced fresh strawberry.
We are running out the last of our strawberries from Spooner Berry Farms- Olympia, but don’t worry, we’ve got their incredible raspberries on our cream cheese danish!

Happy one week anniversary of the five year anniversary block party 🤓
Thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a great day!
You played ring toss and bean bag toss, you popped balloons with darts, you ran the big inflatable obstacle course, you threw softballs to dunk our cookie costumed volunteers, and noshed on fresh popcorn, cotton candy, mini cupcakes and ice cream sandwiches! Even the dogs got in on it with doggy friendly cupcakes from Salty Dog 🐶
We also need to thank our volunteers who made the event such a success: Homeowners Kelly, Sieg, Andrew, Ryan, Berengeria, DJ Fred plus Seabrook events staff and our very own employees Tyler and Andrea. Thank you all, we couldn’t have done it without you!
Finally, our fellow merchants The Salty Dog and The Sweet Life coming together with us to bring Meriweather to life.
We love our community and wanted a day to say thanks and celebrate the last five years of Vista. Here’s to another five years!

✨Veggie Bagel Sandwich✨
Not that you need another reason to try one of our hand rolled bagels, but we have a new sandwich on the menu!
My personal fave at a bagel shop is a sandwich loaded with whatever veggies they’ve got on hand.
We went with roasted bell pepper, cucumber, lettuce, tomato and clover sprouts. With our new Cacio e Pepe cream cheese, it’s a peppery, crunchy delight on a freshly toasted bagel.
Sub in vegan cream cheese to make an entirely vegan sammy for our plant based besties 😘
If we are sold out of bagels, not to fret, this is also amazing on some toasted sourdough or fresh focaccia!

Word is out! Bagels are now on the menu. Baked fresh every day(you know how we do). Come by for a bagel with one of our new flavors of shmear, or we can make it into a bangin bagel sandwich. Check out our website for more info on menu changes and new items.
Please be patient with us as we ramp up production on these, as we are a bakery making bagels, but also a bakery making a lot of other things and we strive to bring the same level of quality and consistency across the board (:

PARTY TIME!
We are celebrating our 5 year anniversary(can you believe it?) this summer! We wanted to throw a big block party on Meriweather st. so everyone from our amazing community can celebrate with us.
This is a free event for all, starting at 12pm on June 13th. Please note the Bakeshop will be closing early at 12pm for our staff to enjoy the party(they are the reason we’ve come this far, after all). Our sister cafe, Bellwether, will be open regular hours.

We are now hiring across all positions at the Bakeshop and Bellwether Cafe!
Kitchen: We are looking to hire for our entry level positions, like bakery prep and sandwich prep! Pending training and performance review, these positions lead to training for our pastry and bread programs. These positions are available for this summer and beyond.
Front of House: We are looking for baristas at Vista and Bellwether! If you are friendly and work well in fast paced environments, this position is for you. This position is available for this summer, with a potential to extend beyond pending reviews and shift availability.
