🤍 A Little Meggity Peggity’s Update 🤍

After a whole lot of thought, I’ve decided to temporarily step away from taking new cake orders and make this page inactive for a while

Life has gotten wonderfully, ridiculously FULL lately, and between my full-time career, my family, and the cake orders already on my books, I simply don’t have the time to continue taking on more without stretching myself way toooo thin

And if you already have an order booked with me - DON’T PANIC! 🤍 Nothing is changing with the orders already on my calendar. I’ll still be completing everything I’ve committed to, and I’ll be in touch with each of you just like always

This little cake business has been such a huge part of my life, and I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for every single person who has trusted me with their birthdays, weddings, babies, anniversaries, celebrations and everything in between 🥹🎂 You guys turned something I loved doing into something bigger than I ever imagined.

But right now, I need to give myself permission and have the faith to focus on this new season of life and stop trying to squeeze 47 hours into a 24-hour day

This isn’t necessarily goodbye to Meggity Peggity’s Cakes - it’s just a “see ya later” while I figure out what cakes look like in this new chapter 🤍

Thank you for supporting me, recommending me, sharing my work, challenging my creativity, and keeping me busier than I ever dreamed possible.

This woodland-inspired wedding cake was one of my favorite creations to bring to life. From the hand-painted pine trees and textured chocolate bark to the moss, wildflowers, and forest floor details, every element was designed to capture the beauty of nature

I especially love that this cake was displayed at a private residence, surrounded by the very scenery that inspired its design. It couldn't have found a more perfect home 🤍

It was such an honor to create this wedding cake and be a part of such a beautiful day. Every orchid was handcrafted and thoughtfully placed to bring this couple's vision to life, creating a design that was both elegant and unforgettable

One of my favorite details? This three-tier cake offered the best of both worlds - one tier was creamy cheesecake while another was traditional cake, making it as delicious as it was beautiful ✨️
