I’m baking today! Let me know if you need bread: Farmhouse White, Honey Wheat, Seedy Sourdough, or the luxurious Cinnamon Bread. ($7/$7/$10/$10)

Also… I made a very small batch of a new Black Coffee Jelly. It starts with a strong, dark-roast coffee—French pressed—then gently set with cane sugar, pectin, and a splash of fresh-squeezed lemon juice.

This flavor is inspired by my grandmother in the later years of her life: a widow, winter on the farm, and no garden to tend —she’d sit at the long farmhouse table with cup of coffee always nearby, her ci******es would burn low, and the the day would quietly unfold around her.

It’s unexpectedly beautiful paired with Espresso Bellavitano or Humboldt Fog—a creamy, slightly funky chèvre with its signature ribbon of vegetable ash running through the center.

I only have about 7 jars left.
$10 per jar.

I’m also making a plain cornbread muffins ($10) as well as caramelized onion cornbread muffins with Gruyère ($12)

Jam: Kentucky Cranberry Jelly

Muffin: Caramelized onion, fig, and goat cheese cornbread.

All natural or organic; free from preservatives, dough conditioners, artificial colors, flavors, and funny business. Whenever possible we use our own honey and eggs. Shopping local means money stays in our lovely community instead of getting sent out to big corporate headquarters.

I’ve been very tired lately, but I got my groove back by waking up and tending to the animals and cleaning the house. So now it’s bake day today. Some of y’all already have orders in- I’ll have a couple extra Seedy Sourdough loaves and organic sliced Farmhouse White loaves, yummy Banana Nut Muffins, all ready tomorrow. If you need anything, let me know. 🥰

FYI, only 1-2 Thanksgiving pie spots left. If you need an apple, pecan, or pumpkin pie, let me know asap. They are $28/28/22 respectively.

Come Monday I’ll be making good old fashioned potato rolls using my grandma’s recipe, no doubt passed down for generations in the hollows of Appalachia. ($10) I’ll also be making staples like organic white ($7), honey wheat ($7), and seedy sourdough ($10). (All loaves are pre-sliced)

Muffins this week are Maple Sweetened Banana with a cinnamon walnut streusel. Half dozen $10

Cookies are organic soft baked chocolate chip. A dozen $15

I still have a few more slots for holiday pies, let me know if you need an apple, pecan, or pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving!

Would go great with these new preserve flavors!

🍋Lemon Apple
(with a mild hit of organic Ceylon and Saigon cinnamon). This preserve is INCREDIBLE with chunks of Parmesan cheese.

🔥Caramel Apple
Extra caramelization will remind you of golden campfire roasted marshmallows. I had a ratatouille moment when I paired this with a sliver of smoked cheddar 🤤🐀🎇

😗Tart Raspberry
Extra lemony, it will make your mouth pucker, try it with Brie or buttermilk blue, or mix a bit of it with oil, vinegar, salt and pepper to create your own raspberry salad dressing.

🍍 Sweet and Spicy Pineapple and Red Pepper Jelly
With a hint of spice from a small amount of habanero, the flavor is dominated by sweet pineapple and organic sweet red peppers. Delicious on a cracker or thin slice of toasted bread with goat or cream cheese. A spin on the traditional southern classic appetizer of pepper jelly and cream cheese with crackers. If you like Hawaiian pizza, this flavor is for you!

🌶️Traditional Pepper Jelly
A southern classic, often made and served at this time of the year because gardeners need to harvest and preserve their remaining peppers before the frost. This version has a little bit of heat which would be nicely offset by a creamy cheese on a cracker. Mary from Harvest Moon Homestead made a delightful appetizer using goat cheese and her Zesty Cowboy focaccia and topped it with this pepper jelly! See her photo! 😍

🍒 Chocolate Cherry Preserves
A rich, indulgent blend of deep red cherries and velvety chocolate; sweet, slightly tart, and irresistibly smooth with a hint of nostalgia in every spoonful.
This customer favorite is inspired by my late Grandma Vena — an avid gardener and remarkable cook who grew up on her family farm in Kentucky. Chocolate-covered cherries were her favorite treat around the holidays, a little luxury she always made time for. When she and my grandfather lived apart for a year, they exchanged handwritten love letters while he worked in Oxford, saving every bit he could so they could build a life together here. To them, Southwestern Ohio was a promise — a fresh start, a brighter future, and a place where love and hard work could bloom.
With each jar, we honor that story — a little romance, a little resilience, and a whole lot of delicious.

🍯Honey Blackberry Preserves
I tweaked my blackberry jam recipe and this flavor is magical. I seived out half of the seeds to maintain some of that texture while keeping it smooth and sweet. The honey comes from my dad’s bees that visit my mom’s many flowers that bloomed throughout this past summer. Bees that get the luxury of feeding on a variety of flowers like this will create honey that is extremely complex and floral.

I still have a few Evening Berry (blueberry with blackberry wine) and Plain Jane Strawberry jelly as well! All preserves are $10.
