Hey there,
our wonderful Bennett’s Kitchen friends! My sister Annette and I are taking a little break from our self-serve bakery cart so I can focus on my health while battling Lyme disease.
It’s tough stepping away from baking your favorite breads and treats and your support means everything to us. We’re hoping to pop open again around August, and we’d love to keep you in the loop!

Ya, it's gray outside again, so what. Do what I do and eat to push away the depression!
Today on Bennett's Bakery Cart we have Orange Olive oil cakes, so so good. Sourdough English muffins, Rum Raisin Cookies, Momofuku cookies which are a combination of a crunchy cornflake mixture added to a cookie dough with chocolate chips and marshmallows. Chocolate Chunk Cookies, Vanilla Cream Brioche Buns and Blueberry Brioche Buns, if you love a sweet bread these are for you! If the sign if at the top of the road the cart is out. I'll be putting it out today at 9:30am

The sun is out, looks like dry weather for a couple days so Bennett’s Kitchen Self Serve cart will be out!
The cart will be out from 12:00- 6:00 today.

Well the weather this week is being a total party pooper for our outdoor food cart. With that we have had to push out our opening date until next week. While this is a bummer for us it's out of our hands. I would just ask that whom ever is out there doing the rain dance to take a break already!

Due to a technical difficulty ( the wind blew over our cart and did extensive damage), we will have our opening in a week while we make repairs. You have to love Maine weather.
