Meet “Little Miss Hazel” 🤎

Don’t let the “Little Miss” fool you. Hazel is the kind of woman who shows up in pearls, smells expensive, orders dessert first, and has absolutely no problem telling you exactly what she thinks.

Politely, of course.

She’s got Betty White energy. Sweet enough to get away with it, quick enough that you don’t realize what she said until five minutes later, and old enough to know better but entirely too entertained to care. 😂

And her cookie matches.

A rich Nutella cookie loaded with dark chocolate, wrapped around a Ferrero Rocher center, then piled unapologetically high with chocolate-hazelnut crunch, Nutella drizzle, and flaky sea salt.

Because Hazel doesn’t do a little something on top. She does the most and somehow makes it look appropriate.

She’s rich.
She’s a little salty.
She has layers.
And she absolutely has stories she cannot repeat in mixed company.

Just a little reminder for my Saturday people… I will NOT be set up at the Farmers Market tomorrow. 🤎

But I couldn’t let the week end without saying THANK YOU.

The preorders, the messages, the shares, the people grabbing extras, the familiar faces that keep coming back… y’all made this yet another CRAZY week for Perfectly Artisanal. And from the looks of things, crazy might just be getting started. 👀🍪

There are some pretty BIG things happening behind the scenes right now. Things I’m not quite ready to spill yet… but just know there have been conversations, opportunities, and a whole lot of “wait… is this actually happening?!” moments lately. 🤐✨

From the bottom of this single-mamas heart, thank you. Truly!

For buying the cookies. For telling your friends. For following along with these ridiculous cookie personalities, and for enjoying it as much as I do lol. For showing up week after week. And most of all, for believing in this little thing I started long enough for it to start becoming something that feels… not so little anymore. 🥹🤎

🤎 MONDAY MORNING COOKIE PERSONALITY: TOASTED EXPECTATIONS

We said we were going to start introducing the personalities behind the cookies, so let’s start Monday with Toasted Expectations.

This beauty…. Well she grew up on New Kids on the Block, Saturday morning cartoons, and brown sugar cinnamon Pop-Tarts for breakfast (obviously lol).

She’s done some growing up since then….

She pays her bills, makes her own appointments now, and owns at least one outfit that says I have my life together. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Her taste is slightly more refined these days…
but there’s still some MB20 and Turnpike Troubadours in the rotation when she needs to turn it up, disappear into the music for a while, and remember exactly who she is.

And her taste in Pop-Tarts?

Well, that got an upgrade too. 😏

Toasted Expectations has brown sugar cinnamon Pop-Tart crushed throughout, a thick brown sugar cinnamon core tucked inside, then gets topped and drizzled with Grade A maple syrup.

She’s nostalgic without being stuck in the past.

A little polished.
A little sentimental.
Slightly unhinged on some level…
But this girl, she knows every word to the songs on her playlists, and some she probably shouldn’t admit are even on there lol

And absolutely old enough to know that if you’re going to have a Pop-Tart… you buy the good maple syrup to go with it. 😂🤎

TOASTED EXPECTATIONS

Because we didn’t grow out of Pop-Tarts.
We just gave them better taste. 😂

Welllll… your girl went MIA after market yesterday. 😂

And by MIA, I mean I came home, sat down and apparently my body said, “Absolutely not. We are done here.” I slept. Like… ALL DAY. 😴

Still moving a little slow today, but apparently the cookies have been out there building their own fan clubs while I’ve been unconscious. 😂

Cider Love has been the TOTAL rave from yesterday. 🍎🔥 She came in warm, spicy and a little questionable and apparently y’all are into that.

Right behind her is Cinna Lover Lover, who has been collecting compliments like she expected nothing less. That cinnamon-roll center is doing exactly what she came here to do.

And then there’s Toasted Expectations… our brown sugar Pop-Tart girl with that little maple drizzle. She quietly showed up and now people are messaging me about her. 👀

So I think it’s officially time.

We’re bringing the cookie personalities back to the page DAILY. 🍪📖
Because apparently some of you aren’t just here to eat them anymore… you’re following their stories. And hearing that at market yesterday from some of my younger followers absolutely made my day.

And speaking of new characters…

Miss Hazel is currently getting herself together. 🌰🤎 She’s being finalized now and will be popping in to properly introduce herself VERY soon.

Trust me. She has opinions.
