Another day, another woman helping move Owensboro forward. Today, we’re spotlighting Amy Gilmore!
Amy is the owner and operator of Gramps Coffee and Donuts in Downtown Owensboro, where her mission goes far beyond coffee and donuts. She has created a space where people feel known, where life’s biggest moments are celebrated and supported, and where community connection is at the center of everything she does. Under her leadership, Gramps has been recognized as Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce's Emerging Business of the Year in 2023 and has earned multiple “best of” awards over the past five years.

Amy’s impact extends throughout the community. She is the past president of Downtown Owensboro, Inc., where she helps promote and strengthen the economic vitality of downtown. She's also a passionate advocate for the special needs community, intentionally creating opportunities for inclusion and connection through partnerships with organizations like the Opportunity Center of Owensboro and Puzzle Pieces.
