Late posting, this cake was last week.

I absolutely love doing military retirement cakes!!

The cake design on inside was an American flag design.
It was red velvet with my Mexican buttercream tinted white and tinted blue vanilla cake for the top layer and white drops of vanilla for stars. With 75 cupcakes in vanilla and red velvet frosted in coordinating design in my Mexican vanilla buttercream.

Sometimes you guys need disassembled cakes to travel with….. it’s not very often I let a cake go unfinished… but this customer has the knowledge of how to stack cakes.

The larger bottom tier is red velvet cake frosted with my Mexican vanilla buttercream
The top tier is a vanilla cake frosted ready to stack with Mexican vanilla buttercream
