Dear friends, family, and our cherished customers,
After much thought and with a heavy heart, I have made the difficult decision to close Prairie Bakeshop. This choice has not come easily, but for personal and financial reasons, it is the right step for me and my family at this time.
When I opened Prairie Bakeshop, I dreamed of creating more than just a place to buy pastries, cakes and sweets. I wanted to build a little corner of warmth, comfort, and connection—a space where people could gather around food made with care and love. Over these past 3 years, you’ve allowed me to do just that.
Your encouragement, your kind words, and your support have meant the world to me. Every order, every smile, and every story shared across the counter reminded me why I started this journey. You’ve been more than customers—you’ve become friends and community, and I will always hold that close to my heart.
Though Prairie Bakeshop is coming to a close, the memories we’ve made together will stay with me. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being part of this chapter in my life.
We will be open through Sunday 9/7/25, our normal hours of 10-5. I do hope you’ll come by at least one last time to grab your favorite goodies and say goodbye to the shop! Should we sell out sooner than Sunday I will update on social media.
