🇲🇽❤️ Feliz Día de la Independencia ❤️🇲🇽

I. am incredibly proud to be a small Mexican business, proud of my roots, and proud to be first generation. 🇲🇽✨

I am especially proud of my parents — two people who left behind everything they knew, their home, their families, to provide their children with opportunities they themselves didn’t get to experience.

Without the courage and resilience of Mexican immigrants, I don’t know if I would have the inspiration or confidence to start Sosa’s Sweets. What started as an idea has allowed me to carry pieces of my culture, my family, and my childhood into everything I create. 🩷🧁

Everything I make carries where I come from. The flavors that remind me of home, to the recipes and inspiration passed down through my family, I am so grateful that I get to share my culture in my own way 🫶🏽

To my parents: gracias por ser valientes enough to start over so that we could dream bigger.

I will always be proud of where I'm from, where my family started, and how far we’ve come. 🇲🇽❤️

💗 Update from Sosa’s Sweets 💗

First, I want to apologize to everyone who has been waiting for a new menu, a pop-up, or another chance to get your Sosa’s Sweets favorites. 🥹❤️ I know I’ve been a little quiet, and I truly appreciate everyone who continues to support me and check in.

I also want to say THANK YOU to everyone who keeps sending ideas and inspiration for Sweets you’d love to see! 🥰 Every craving, and “you should make this!” message has been saved in my mind (and in my notes 😂). There are SO many ideas I’m excited to bring to life!

Behind the scenes, I made a job change that I truly believe is for the better as I continue building what I need for my future and for Sosa’s Sweets to prosper. 💗 However, the transition also left me with a slight shoulder injury that I’m currently allowing time to fully recover from.

Thank you for your patience, your support, your ideas, and for continuing to anticipate what’s next for Sosa’s Sweets. This little business means so much to me, and I promise I have plenty of new sweetness coming once I’m ready. 🧁💗

I’ll be back in the kitchen soon — and trust me, I’ve got some GOOD ideas brewing. 👀✨

📣 REMINDER on my preorder system! 📣

🗓️ PREORDERS: When I post a preorder menu, I typically do not/will not have extras on hand. I bake based on the orders I receive, so your order is only guaranteed once your order + deposit is placed

⏰ DUE DATE: The due date means both your order AND deposit must be sent by that date in order to guarantee your Sweets!

🏡 PICKUP: I am porch pickup only, but I may be able to deliver within the KCK–Olathe area for an additional fee. Just ask!

💚 GREEN MENU: Adult-friendly sweets
🩷 PINK MENU: Regular sweets
👉🏽 Please be sure to indicate which menu/sweets you are wanting when placing your preorder!

🍰 EXTRAS: On the rare occasion that I have leftover sweets, I’ll post them for sale after. However, please don’t count on a clear-out sale! I try my best to bake only what is ordered so I can avoid unnecessary food waste. 🚫

* You are still more than welcome to preorder other things that may not be on those menus for a later date 🥰✨ including catering orders!
