I have some leftover treats from last night’s Trivia Night fundraiser, and we’re going to do things a little differently this time! Pay what you will, and all proceeds go to Ottawa Welcome Team - Welcome NST. You can buy these either by paying me and I’ll pass it along *or* with a donation directly to the group.

I am a firm believer that any life event can be commemorated with a cake (or with cupcakes, or with cookies…). A friend recently (finally) finalized their divorce, and I got to test that belief with a divorce cake! It was a hit, and I think I got some converts.

Three layers of moist chocolate cake sandwiched with fresh cherry sauce and a fudgy dark chocolate frosting, topped with hand dipped chocolate cherries.

As promised, cranberry treats! Since these are all made with fresh cranberries, they are only available as long as the stores have them in stock.
* Cranberry white chocolate blondies - perfectly moist, deliciously tart and sweet, $18/dozen
* Cranberry muffins - a hint of warm spices from cinnamon and ginger makes these perfect for cooling weather. Nut free as pictured, but a pecan crumble can be added if desired for an extra depth, $18/dozen
