Real Butter Bake Shoppe Welcome to Real Butter - Your new way to impress friends and family with *your* stellar baking skill Sometimes you just NEED a little sweet in your life, right?

If you agree, then this is the bake shoppe for you. At Real Butter Bake Shoppe, I believe you can have your cake and eat it too. And maybe another piece after that...but let's not get too crazy. Sometimes the old-fashioned ways are best, so I use tried and true methods for traditional classics as well as new favorites. I’m a one-person do-it-all baker that uses real butter, milk, sugar, and eggs.

I specialize in gluten-full, sugar-full, fat-full baked goods. And since we eat first with our eyes, I am just as passionate about presentation and aesthetics. Real Butter Bake Shoppe is your new way to impress friends and family with your stellar baking skills. Nobody has to know it came from my kitchen! Have a recipe you have been too afraid to try? *ANNOUNCEMENT - BUSINESS IS MOVING - PLEASE READ*

Bittersweet - adjective

1. both bitter and sweet to the taste: bittersweet chocolate 2. both pleasant and painful or regretful: a bittersweet memory.

Let's talk about the second definition - after 6+ years in business, and hundreds of cakes/cookies/sweets, life has changed directions for our family and RBBS is closing its doors here in Minnesota.

Bittersweet is the most fitting description...my heart is so incredibly sad to say goodbye to loyal customers and friends, but at the same time I'm overjoyed at the opportunity that awaits in a new location.

The suburbs of Tampa, Florida will be the new home of Real Butter Bake Shoppe and once we have settled in, I'll be right back in the baking game!!

I will not be accepting anymore orders as of today. If you have purchased a gift certificate, please reach out and I'll fulfill those up until May 15th.

Thank you all for your years of encouragement and support. I absolutely could not have made this dream come true without all of you.
