When we opened The Cow Path Bakery, our goal wasn’t just to bake pastries—it was to create a gathering place for our community.
At the time, Othello didn’t have a local bakery where you could meet a friend for coffee, enjoy a freshly baked pastry, or simply slow down for a few moments in the middle of a busy day. We believed our community deserved a place where people could connect, share stories, celebrate milestones, and enjoy food made with care.
Five years later, that’s still at the heart of everything we do.
In a world that feels increasingly busy and disconnected, we believe there is something special about sitting across from someone you care about, sharing a cup of coffee, and enjoying an unhurried conversation. Some of life’s best moments happen around a table.
Every morning, our bakery fills with the aroma of scratch-made pastries fresh from the oven, freshly brewed coffee, and guests gathering to start their day. Throughout the day, friends meet for lunch, coworkers catch up between meetings, and families stop in for a sweet treat together.
It’s more than breakfast.
It’s more than coffee.
It’s a place to pause, connect, and be present.

Today, we're celebrating the dads, grandpas, stepdads, father figures, and mentors who have helped shape our families and communities.

The ones who taught us how to ride a bike, fix what was broken, work hard, lend a hand, tell a good story, and occasionally embarrass us with a truly legendary dad joke.

We hope your day is filled with good food, great company, and time spent with the people who matter most.
