When you support Ostrander Rōst and ART of the Oven, you’re supporting more than a local coffee shop…

You’re supporting a business that believes in investing back into the community around us.

One of the best examples of that is the Delaware County Junior Fair.

Every photo you see on our wall represents a 4-H kid who was supported by Paul Rockwell and Ostrander Rōst. Each one represents months of hard work, responsibility, dedication, and a young person who had someone in their community willing to invest in what they were doing.

Paul put a significant amount back into supporting these kids, and seeing that firsthand gave me an even greater appreciation for what this business stands for.

Community involvement here isn’t just something we talk about. It’s something you can actually see.

So when you stop in for your morning coffee, grab a White Chocolate Raspberry Muffin, or support us in any way, you’re helping support a business that continues to pour back into the people around it.

And that’s something I’m very proud to be a part of. 🤎

A little local love going into today’s bake 🍓

I’m filling today’s strawberry Pop-Tarts with strawberry jam from Haylee’s Harvest, a family-run small business that has been growing and creating since 2021.

I love when something I make gives me the opportunity to support someone else who is building something of their own.

🍋 Fresh out of the Oven…

Gluten-free friendly Lemon Almond Bundt Cakes are cooling now and getting topped with a lemon icing before they head to the case. 🤍

I love the combination of the almond cake with that fresh lemon flavor, and the icing is going to bring it all together.

Weekend preparations 👩‍🍳🤍

I’m very intentional about the ingredients I choose for everything I serve...

For my pizza rolls, I use Rao’s marinara because I appreciate the simplicity…. tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, onion and herbs, without added sugar.

For me, ingredient selection is part of the process, not an afterthought. I want to know that what I’m serving is something I would feel good putting on the table for my own children.

That same standard carries into every item I make: thoughtful ingredients, careful preparation, and a lot of intention behind the final product.

I really love being part of a place where so much care goes into what we serve. 🤍

Knowing the syrups are made by hand right here makes every drink feel a little more special, and I love that the same made-from-scratch mindset carries over into the pastries I get to fill the case with each day.

A lot of people come in, maybe a first timer, and ask "um, can I get a couple pumps of, uh like Carmel flavoring in my coffee or latte or whatever?" 😂

And now, a few things:

1. We don't use pumps.

2. Every one of our syrups are hand made, hand crafted, and measured to perfection for every drink we make.

3. We now have Carmel latte or whatever you want Carmel flavor, we got you. 😁

4. Since it's fall, I love hot apple c***r, and since we have Carmel, me and Paxton came up with an amazing drink called the.....get ready......its big.......the "Carmel Apple" , amazing and available hot or iced!
