As promised, here’s my calendar of events for October. 🤎

09/23/2026

Hi friends, I just wanted to come on and give y’all a little life update. Tomorrow may be my last farmers market for the season.

To be honest, I’ve been running on empty for a while. I really have poured my heart and soul into this business over the last year and some change, and I’ve worked so incredibly hard to get to where I’m at. And in doing that I think I’ve worked myself into some serious burnout. Every waking second of most of my days is spent planning for events, making menus and flyers, ordering/shopping for supplies, prepping, baking, all things business related. And while I truly do love it so so much… I’ve realized in recent weeks that I’ve been neglecting my mental and physical well-being for quite some time. Most of the time I’m finding it very hard to even get out of bed let alone turn on the oven and spend the entire day in the kitchen.

I want to always offer you all the very best version of myself and everything I create. And with the funk that I’ve been in, I know it’s just not possible right now.

So, with that being said, aside from any prior engagements already on my calendar for the month of October, I will be scaling it way back and just slowing down to try and find some of the joys in everyday life again outside of being a baker. I appreciate you all for the continued support and I’ll be making a separate post so you know where you can find your treat fixes throughout the month.

With love,
Alyssa 🤎

Join us Saturday, September 26th from 2–7 PM at Magalia Community Park for an afternoon celebrating the history, season and spirit of Magalia and the Upper Ridge!

The Magalia Fall Festival is being brought to our community by Yard Angels in Paradise and Magalia, and Magalia Community Park, alongside an incredible group of local vendors, businesses, volunteers and community members who have all come together to make this day possible. ❤️

A HUGE shoutout to Magalia Community Park for being such an important part of organizing this event, letting us hosting the event at the park, and providing the 18' Water Slide and 18' Slip-and-Slide for our families to enjoy!

And we absolutely could not host an event like this without our local vendors. Their participation and support are a huge part of what makes the Magalia Fall Festival possible.
