*** ANNOUNCEMENT ***
Hope you all had a wonderful New Year’s and a great start to 2026! Although Steve and I (Andrea) are moving onto our next chapter some of our employees are not quite ready. I’m sure most of you are familiar with our longtime employee of 7 years, Joe aka, the cook? Well Joe is going to be taking over the lease there at Beachside Cafe and is going to give it his best shot at filling our shoes and serving you up the best breakfast in town! Let’s give him some time to name his first business and get all the little details that go along with business ownership done. But for now, let’s just call it Beachside Cafe2.0 (I think he can do better than that, what do you think?).
We are so blessed to have the best customers any business could ask for and I appreciate all the wonderful well wishes from you all. I hope you will welcome this new (yet not) business owner, Joe Connor, and give him the same love and support you’ve always shown us! We fully respect Joe’s work ethic and energy and since he’s always treated our cafe like his own, now it is his own. Please join me in giving him a big huge CONGRATULATIONS and GOOD LUCK! He’s probably a little nervous since all this happened so quickly but I know you’ll support him, as will we.
Joe’s longtime partner and current employee will also be staying on to serve you and help Joe every step of the way. I know these two will do us proud and I’m eager to follow their journey!
Joe and Sam will be having a soft opening starting tomorrow at 7am. Please be prepared to pay in cash until they finish setting all their banking and credit card processing equipment up.
And again, thank you for all the messages and texts wishing us well. I’ll keep you updated on Joe’s progress until he’s ready to start his own page. And let’s give him some ideas for a name! I say Joe’s Corner. What do you got?
