I would like to say THANK YOU to for reaching out to me overa year ago to be the of Orange County Chef/ friend and mentor.

It has been a beautiful and fun ride, but this was my last cooking class and with tears in my eyes, I got to say goodbye to these beautiful and intelligent group of girls.

I have learned so much from them in the past year and it has been an honor to be the person that has inspired them to eat better and learn so much about food in a fun and dynamic way.

I love to teach and I love to cook so these classes have been full of love. Thank, thank you!
Im taking the best memories from all the classes and I hope I could keep inspiring young girl in CA too.

This class blew everyone’s kind and I’m so proud of it. Keep it going guys!

El antojo del día de hoy: spaghetti con pesto de espinaca.
Espinaca fresca, nueces tostadas, aceite de oliva extra virgen, parmesano reggiano, un chorrito de jugo de limón, ajo fresco, sal y pimienta negra. Delicioso!

En Perú es costumbre de hacer este pesto y hay muchas variedades. Siempre es a base de albaca y espinaca. Unos usan queso parmesano, otros queso feta. Pinoles tostados pero si no tienes, pues algún tipo de nuez funciona de maravilla!

Siempre acompañado de un bistec encima y a comer!

Comida simple, nutritiva y funciona siempre para salir del apuro.

Esto siempre me hace recordar a mis días cotidianos en mi querido Perú.

Ahora dime, en tu país también hacen algo así durante la semana?

In my house, we all love to cook one way or another.
Making pasta is a form of art. A way to your heart.
My husband and kids get in the kitchen and it’s a beautiful mess.

Don’t worry about the mess. You can always clean it up later. They will remember this forever. Their homemade food, the mess, how much fun they had and how much they learned.

Food is a love language. My love language.

I’m blessed that I’m capable to cook wonderful meals for my family on daily basis. That I never take for granted.

Go ahead, get your ingredients ready and cook with your family. You’ll see what I’m talking about.
