I can't believe I haven't shared these baby shower cookies yet! 🤩

From the colors, to the designs, to the textures, it's definitely one of my all time favorite sets.

The leafy background on the arch cookie was made by etching the dried icing with the sharp tip of my scribe!

And the texture on the grapefruit cookie was from roughly painting on detail consistency icing after my flood base was dry. 🤗

✨ Here’s an easy way to elevate your cookie design ✨

Instead of flooding the base like normal, I painted on a thin layer of flood icing to give the background a slight translucency and added texture. Then I piped on the leaves and flowers with detail consistency to really make it all stand out.

Plus, painting on your base instead of flooding it is faster and saves you time on an extra detailed cookie 🙌🏼

The leaf print is originally from a thank you card I found on Pinterest by and can be adapted in so many ways!

The answer to yesterday’s guessing game: Anne of Green Gables 👒

We threw my sister a surprise Anne of Green Gables tea party for her 27th birthday and it was so magical! She’s been enamored with the series ever since we can remember and it was so fun to dress everyone up and swoon over Gilbert Blythe together (obviously from the 1985 film).
