Can I let you in on a little secret? 💕

Even after making hundreds of custom fondant figures, I still get nervous sometimes.

When someone trusts me to create a figure of their child or loved one, I want it to be just right. That little voice of self-doubt still pops up from time to time.

When it does, I remind myself to take a deep breath, remember all the happy customers I’ve had over the years, and keep creating. Every figure teaches me something new, and every one helps me become a better artist.

If you’ve ever felt nervous before starting a project, you’re not alone. The goal isn’t to never feel fear—it’s to create anyway. ❤️

For years I worked on my feet for 12+ hours at a time making cakes. I loved creating, but eventually my body let me know something had to change. Plantar fasciitis and heel spurs made even walking painful.

These days, I still make cakes, but I’ve created a better balance by spending more time sitting while making fondant figures for my Etsy shop. Not only has it helped me build another income stream, but it’s also allowed me to do something I never thought I’d enjoy again… run. 🏃‍♀️💕

One of my favorite ways to create beautiful desserts is by incorporating edible flowers. Whether adorning a cake or nestled atop cupcakes, they transform simple treats into something truly special.
