Because I was born on Groundhog Day, I’ve always received the cutest birthday cards with notes reflecting the cute little critter who makes this day so special! I even remember years ago, my sweet sister Jen bought me the cutest little birthday cake that had a little groundhog on top, made out of a cupcake. So I asked my family if I could make my own cake this year, celebrating the little groundhog that has always made me feel extra special on my birthday! 😁
Here’s to another Groundhog Day, and may he never see his shadow again!

I had a request for a beachy cake that included red wine, flip flops and an aqua drip! Since the beach and all things tropical are some of my favorites too, I had so much fun with this one! The wine glasses and wine bottles are made out of edible sugar 😊
