Going in a slightly different direction this morning. 🌞

It’s a Cinnamon Roll with Maple Icing and Browned Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie kind of weekend.

Both of these goodies are made with sourdough and they are delicious.

I had an idea today and went for it. My kids love sprinkles, so I thought 🤔 why not add some to my original dough recipe? Then I went even further, and thought, what about some cake batter flavored butter to go with. Ummmm..yes!! We are all here for it! Tastes just like cake!

After numerous attempts and several recipes I think I have found a keeper. The flavor is not too sweet but just enough, and loving the texture of this one. Excited to play with this recipe, only room for improvement.
