It is bittersweet that we announce this is the last week we will be open here at The Cupcake Orchard. This has been an amazing ride the last 4 years, however after much thought the time has come to close this chapter and begin a new one. I always dreamed of having my own shop someday and am so grateful to have had that opportunity. We were fortunate to be here nearly 4 years, in a world where many businesses don’t make it through their first.
This photos sums up a big part of the why. When we started this adventure, my kids were 3 and 2. No schedules… flexibility and hanging out with me at the shop. Now at 7 and 6 they are building dreams of their own and I want to be there every step of the way….. I don’t want to miss a dance recital or a baseball game.
We could not have done this without the help of the amazing team at the shop. Kelly T, Emilee, Kelly P, my parents- Jack & Jean, my sister Emma, my husband Paul, Ella & Luke, and countless family and friends that have lent a hand, support or encouraging words. Thank you to all of you for letting us be a part of your lives in some sweet way…we have been honored to be at weddings, showers, birthdays, anniversaries, gender reveals, and “just because” days!!
We will be open through this Saturday, August 8th. This week we will be sharing some of your favorite flavors and pics of some great events we have been able to be a part of. Stop in to say hi and get one last cupcake fix! And stay tuned for our next adventure……….
