Feeling so grateful. That is me and our shop…💗😭
One of our regular customers is Gustavo is a columnist for the Los Angeles Times, covering Southern California. He is the eyes and ears and heart to the Mexican Community and all communities. A voice on Instagram, but to me, and my family a Godsend. 🙏
He wrote a featured article in the of our shop with beautiful pictures by (Genaro Molina/Los Angeles Times)
Needless to say tears and hope is feeling us up with so much emotions. How " Our Story and Tragedy was told by Gustavo, capturing how we feel, and the response we been getting from people. 😭💗
We are a small family shop, who fought to stay open during Covid, and thought troubles were behind us, but with the fire, we were loosing hope, of ever being able to re-open.
But Gustavo, gave us a voice and told our story, which has resonated with people, and their beautiful giving hearts and their reactions of kindness to our family, to our tragedy and hardship.
Kindness from our community, from beautiful strangers from afar, from supporters of Gustavo, we begun to receive donations towards the amount needed to re-open, to return to Spigas, to our community of baking our conchas and empanadas.
Im forever humbled and grafetul, and thankful to receiving answers to our prayers. Please read the article and thank you for your generosity and your support in raising funds to re-open again ⬇️
