Illusion Cakes is a small business run by me, Naomi Walker, from my own home kitchen, but that doesn't stop me from making the most beautiful and creative designs that I can come up with! y started when my younger brother asked me to make him a monster book of monsters cake for his birthday and I discovered just how much I love baking and cake decorating. I pride myself on knowing a variety of techniques and skills so that each cake or cupcake comes out original, beautiful, and looking as amazing as possible without sacrificing taste. We don't skip the flavor when constructing our designs. First and foremost we want our cakes, cupcakes, and cookies to be moist, flavorful, and beautiful. We've provided a full list of flavors, frostings, and fillings available right now. As well as a list of pre-made designs. And both lists are growing each day! These are pictures of the cake we did for Mrs.Frances. She had a beautiful ceremony to renew her vows, and a gorgeous party afterward. The cake was a traditional white wedding cake, layered with strawberries and sweetened whip cream. It was iced with vanilla buttercream, and then decorated with fondant pieces. There was also a German Chocolate Groom's Cake made with Dutch Chocolate layers, and Coconut Pecan Frosting. This definitely ranks as one of my favorite projects. It was just so beautiful to work on. I loved it.

I had so much fun making this cake for Jaidan. I wanted his 3rd birthday to be an extra special one. It was a yellow sheet cake, with vanilla bean buttercream icing. The spiderman sculpture is a piggy bank that Jaidan gets to keep! And all other decorations, the city scapes, the braids and of course the covering is traditional fondant. Detailing is royal icing.

Short bread squares and rounds! Perfect for all kinds of fillings. These are filled with rhubarb-strawberry filling, and vanilla creme. Various other fruit and cream fillings available also.

Cookies that Illusion Cakes and Pastries offers. We're adding new cookies, pastries, and breads all the time, so make sure to keep track! Most items require a minimum order of a half dozen, but they all make great party items, after dinner desserts, or simply just a special treat because you felt like it!
