It has been a minute since I’ve done much of any baking. My dad passed September of last year, and that came with a slue of emotions and responsibilities. I could not manage another thing, so baking got placed on the back burner. I received a random message last week and decided to pull out my Kitchenaid. Over the last 10 years I’ve watched this person’s life get turned upside down and twisted around every which way. And still, she rises. Shes excelled and continues to find a way for herself, for her children, and for her family. Shes everyone’s biggest cheerleader, so dont mind me pulling out my metaphorical pom poms, and ok maybe my literal ones, too, as I cheer her on as she says goodbye to the last decade of a work family, and hello to new beginnings. This one’s for you, B 🫶🏼

But then it went 💡 and my hand magically decorated 18 cookies. Before I knew it, it was 2am and had nothing left to give 🤪 Merry Christmas everyone!
