One of our favorite things about being a local bakery is knowing our cakes leave this little shop and become part of so many different tables around our community.
Birthday tables. Dinner tables. Office break rooms. Football spreads. Family get-togethers. And plenty of kitchen counters where somebody couldn't wait long enough to find a plate. 😉

That's what makes baking for this community so special.

Thank you for continuing to make room for Deep South at your table. 💛

Today is International Coffee Day, and we can’t think of a better reason to pair two of our favorite things. ☕🍰

A hot cup of coffee + a slice of rich chocolate cake = a pretty perfect combination.

So pour yourself another cup and come grab something sweet to go with it. Some pairings just make sense. 🤎

There's something we love about hearing, "I'll have my usual." 💛
The caramel cake person. The one who always picks lemon. The customer who knows exactly which cupcakes are going in the box before they walk through the door.
And then there are the people who stand in front of the case for five minutes because everything looks good. We love y'all too. 😂
So what's your Deep South usual?

Some people have a junk drawer.

Some people have a snack drawer.

We'd like to propose a dessert drawer. 😂

Cookies for later. A cupcake you're hiding from everybody else. Maybe a slice of cake tucked safely in the refrigerator.

Tell us we're not the only ones who believe in keeping an emergency dessert supply.

The calendar says fall. 🍂

The temperature says absolutely not. ☀️😂

Happy fall from the Alabama Gulf Coast, where we're still wearing sandals, running the air conditioner, and eating cake like it's our job.

We'll get to sweater weather eventually.

Maybe.
