Thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported Rise & Roost this weekend! I truly appreciate all of you!

Just a reminder that our stand will be closing for the season on November 1st.

After that, we will be moving to preorders only! You can continue ordering your favorites by messaging me directly or placing an order through our Facebook group. Pre orders open weekly on Tuesday afternoons and close Thursday at noon. All orders will be porch pick up on Friday or Saturday mornings!

Store bought vs. farm fresh 🥚

Our chickens are fed organic feed and free range every day, so they’re also out eating grass, plants, seeds, bugs and whatever else they can find. That varied diet is a big part of those beautiful deep orange yolks.

Farm fresh eggs are also much fresher than what you typically find at the grocery store, which means firmer whites, plumper yolks and great flavor. A hen’s diet can also affect the levels of certain nutrients in her eggs.

And one of the fun parts about stopping at our stand, you can usually see the girls who laid your eggs wandering around the property! 😂 Our chickens and ducks are almost always out and about and love to make an appearance.
