Hiii it has been a while. I have hardly baked at all the past few months other than a few loaves bread and some cookies but I really needed the break. But I’m back to baking lots this weekend, starting with the sourdough chai cake my husband requested for his birthday. Though I’m not officially taking orders right now, I am sharing recipes! Here are the chai buttercream ingredients

For 12 cupcakes or 1 small cake:

1 cup butter (grass-fed for best results)
3 1/2-4 cups powdered sugar
1-2 oz. Half & half, heavy cream, or whole milk
2 tbsp high-quality chai spice blend (like )
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt

It is with mixed emotion that I am letting my customers know that I have decided to take a break from my cottage bakery business for 2026. I may reopen in the future, but for now the next right step for me is to close down, focus on my health, and decide what direction I want to go next. I still love baking, especially baking for and with other people, but the current form of my business was not working for me anymore. I may focus more on recipe development in the future and share recipes with you, so feel free to keep following this account if you’re interested. Thanks so much for all your support over the years. Every order and every baking class meant so much to me and I truly appreciate you 💙 -Anna
