GRATEFUL 🤎
I’m grateful for every single person who pre-ordered treats this week, grateful for my family who jumped in to help, and grateful that I still get to do something I love so much — baking for you all while supporting my little family.
And in full transparency, I need to share something that’s been on my heart. I’m realizing I may need to adjust how I do things moving forward.
This was my first larger pop-up since having my second son, and it reminded me why I took a long break. I’m not 22 anymore (the all-nighters hit so differently now 😅) — and baking gets even harder when your baby is sick and your perfect plan suddenly isn’t a plan anymore. 🥲
I’m not sure yet what the future of pop-ups or the ordering process will look like. I might try smaller, more frequent releases instead of only doing holiday ones. I never liked to cut pre-orders off, because I didn’t want to disappoint anyone. Do you like the novelty/special occasion goodies, or would you buy treats on a random day? I’ve thought about simply “baking what I can,” but then there’s the worry of… what if it doesn’t sell? I’m just being honest — I’m still figuring it out. I may try something new and end up pivoting again.
So I guess what I’m asking for is your grace, patience, and continued support. I want to keep baking for you in 2026 — I just need to find a rhythm that works for my family and my reality right now.
