Days like today remind me that small businesses don’t have to mean constantly competing with one another. Sure, some operate that way, but there are also those who see a need and go the extra mile. That’s what Carley at Groovy Sips did. She saw a need when my husband had surgery and stepped up in a way she didn’t have to.

So thankful for people like her and for the small business community we have. 🤍

Drinking my Groovy Gourd with a big heart today 🧡🎃

Wrapping up my last bake before baby was definitely a bittersweet blur. 🥹 Market on the Mississippi was the perfect way to have one last hurrah before our little human arrives, and I’m so grateful to everyone who stopped by, grabbed some cookies, and supported my little bakery. We ended the day just 5 cookies shy of a total sellout, so I’m absolutely taking that as a win! 🤎

And with that, I’M OFFICIALLY ON MATERNITY LEAVE 🍼

Things will be a little quiet around here for a while as I finish up some final baby prep, take care of my husband while he recovers from surgery, and wait for our little one to make their debut.

I will NOT be taking any orders during this time, but Baked by Rebecca isn’t going anywhere! I plan to return after the new year when I’m ready to jump back into the kitchen.

Thank you, truly, for supporting this little dream of mine. Whether you’ve placed an order, stopped at a market, shared a post, or simply followed along. It means more than you know. 🍪

Now, time to trade my apron for a little bit of nesting, resting, and baby waiting. 👶🏼✨

🍂🍪 ONE LAST BAKE BEFORE BABY!🍪🍂

The countdown to maternity leave is officially on, which means Market on the Mississippi this Saturday 9/12 will be my final cookie event before I take some time away to welcome our little one!🤎

I’m bringing the full NYC-style cookie experience with me — thick, gooey, bakery-style cookies weighing in at a whopping 6 OUNCES EACH. 😍

And because it’s fall… you know I had to bring some of my favorite fall-inspired flavors! 🍁✨ These are the kinds of cookies you’re going to want to grab before they’re gone. 🛍️🍪

🍪 My LAST bake before maternity leave!

I can’t wait to see you there and send you into my little maternity-leave era with a cookie in hand. 🤎
