We are more than a bakery making wedding cakes. Every couple receives a private, one-on-one tasting and design experience where we dream up something completely personal to your big day!

Then, I work my magic and bring that digital vision to life in cake. 🤍 ART that you can Eat.

Thankful is an understatement for how I felt being recognized as Best of Cakes (Editor’s Choice) by Nebraska Wedding Day. 😆

Wowza! To have the work, time and investment I’ve poured into Love More Sweets recognized in this way means more to me than I can put into words.

Over the last couple of years, I’ve met some truly incredible people, especially incredible women in this industry who lift you up, cheer you on and stand beside you while you chase after a dream. And that is exactly what Nebraska Wedding Day has been for me.

I’m so incredibly grateful for the opportunities they have given me, the people they have connected me with and now, the opportunity to be a guest on their Wedding Day Magazine podcast!

Sometimes I still can’t believe I get to live my dream every day, surrounded by wedding friendors who are just as passionate and dedicated to what they do.
We’re putting Nebraska on the map for some pretty spectacular weddings, and I truly believe this is just the beginning. ❤

Oooffff this lighting, couldnt of asked for better!


There is something so special about designing a wedding cake for a venue like the Jolsyn Castle that already has so much character and history. If you're from Omaha you understand.

The Victorian architecture of Joslyn Castle already brings so much beauty to the space, so I wanted the cake to feel like a natural part of it, elegant and romantic.

So I started the design of this wedding cake with a soft ivory fondant finish and a delicate hand-piped floral pattern (green piping) that grows across all three tiers. From there, I created each sugar flower by hand, bringing in soft, romantic colors with the bold pop of dark blue and movement during the arrangment of it.

Elegant, a little whimsical, and full of tiny details.

And yes, every single one of those flowers is sugar. 🤍

Dusting each sugar flower petal may seem like the slightest detail, but it makes such an impactful difference.

Here I am using edible petal dust to add the finishing touches to these Chocolate Cosmos and deep red Anthuriums. With just a few layers of color, the Chocolate Cosmos really came to life. 🤎

When I sat down with Katie for her cake tasting, she knew exactly what she envisioned. She couldn't stop thinking about the elegance of the early to mid-1900s. More specifically, the timeless beauty of Jackie Kennedy's 1950s wedding cake. We paired that classic inspiration with the delicate, romantic nature of handcrafted sugar flowers.

To bring Katie's vision to life, I started with wider, fuller 14-inch bottom tiers to really capture that grand, vintage feel. From there, I focused on bold, dimensional piping on every tier, then softened it with hand-sculpted Sweet Peas and Spray Roses. And of course, just a little peek of delicate blush pink piping to tie it all together.

Just a moment for her!!

There's a moment of excitement and anticipation before the big reveal to the couple! This one had me holding my breath. The hand painted vine work, the sugar flower tulips cascading down the side in blue, blush, yellow and white, it all came together into something I'm really proud of! ❤️

Every cake teaches me something, and this one reminded me how much I love the delicate, painstaking parts of this craft that most people never see.

Tulip shot!

It was my first time making sugar flower tulips and I have to say they turned out very nice!

Love being able to learn from other sugar flowers artists ways. Learned this flower technique and many others form new modern flower book!

Who else is more old fashioned with learning?

Still like a pen and paper and physical books! 📚
I like being able to tag a page and go back to it when needed!
