We took the boys (yes Marvin is one of our boys) to Michigan to see family, attend a wedding (I baked the cake) , and just overall downtime at home.

Sometimes even though we want it and we are putting in the work and we know why we’re going after our goals, there’s just something not clicking.

And it can throw us off, leaving us a little demotivated from what we are trying to accomplish in the gym.

It’s hard to explain from my perspective having experienced this feeling and coached others through it.

So let’s try to work through this feeling quick so next time you’re feeling disconnected or discouraged from your program you have some tools to help get you over that hump!

Absolute brilliant day. Was an absolute joy to be with so many lovely sellers and friends ♥️

I’d like to say more but I’m going on my fourth flight delay soooo!

A photo dump of my workday. Thought it might be nice to share this part of my life & not just my personal side hustles (wellness & baking).

Today a group of us drove up to one of our sites to look at a unit that is undergoing some work.

Now off to help another friend with his baby chickies and then it’s home to my family, off to the gym & getting some more cookie dough prepped for this weekend.

There’s no rest for the wicked! In reality though I think we create the life we want - if we’re lucky. I spent so many years with my life on pause while I was constantly deployed so I think I’m making up for lost time doing everything I wanted to do but couldn’t do back then.
