The Bread Peddler in downtown Olympia is a warm, French-inspired bakery and cafe and the perfect meeting place for locals and tourists alike. From a full range of espresso drinks to artisanal breads and pastries, we capture all the flavor of a French boulangerie and the spirit of the best American artisan baking. Our fresh, made-from-scratch offerings are reminiscent of those in classic European coffeehouses and cafes. Our breakfast and lunch menus feature premium meats, artisan cheeses, local produce, and slow cooking techniques designed to bring out flavors; a perfect treat for impromptu picnics, business meetings, lazy afternoons, and romantic celebrations. Whatever occasion brings you by, we’ll always be more than glad to welcome you in and share a taste of our epicurean joie de vivre! Our Bakery and Cafe is open from 7 am to 5 pm every day.

The Peddler Bistro (just steps away from the cafe) provides a full table service experience, including champagne cocktails and our selection of fine wines, from 8am to 3pm Friday through Sunday.
