How is everyone else surviving cold and flu season?! It feels like we get better and then before we know it we’re sick again!

Today is my 30th birthday, and it felt like the perfect time to properly introduce myself — especially if we haven’t met yet!

I’m Alyssa, the face (and hands 🧁) behind the baking ❤️

I’ve been baking for as long as I can remember — from standing beside my grandma in the kitchen making sweet treats, to now creating desserts for all of you. What started as a childhood joy has grown into something I’m so grateful to share.

While baking holds my heart, I’m also an interior designer by day! Creativity is a huge part of who I am, and I love that both my career and my passion allow me to create things that bring people joy.

When I’m not baking or designing, you’ll find me making memories with my husband and our two kids! Life is very busy but I love it that way.

I do my best to share and post regularly — and I’ll be aiming to do so even more as the year picks up. That said, I truly treasure unplugging and being present with my friends and family, so thank you for your patience. Please stick around and keep an eye out for new posts coming soon!

My first bake of the year is gluten free cinnamon rolls for my family! 🤍

They were so delicious!✨

I have recently discovered that I have a gluten intolerance, and removing it from my diet has been a huge life changer!

Going into the new year I’m going to be offering some gluten sensitive bakes!

My moto is everyone deserves a little treat, and im excited to offer items that can be enjoyed by people with sensitivities like me!

This morning while I was staging and snapping photos of this cake, my three-year-old looked at it and said, “Mommy, I want one. It’s so pretty. You did a good job and you should be proud.” 🥹💕

Safe to say… my heart melted. I am very proud—and also definitely making her a cake later for being that sweet 😂🍰

I don’t make birthday cakes often, but when I do, it’s for the people I love most ❤️

Cutout cookies will always be one of my favorites. 💛

Every Christmas, my grandma would make them with my cousins and me — and honestly, I don’t know how she had the patience to deal with all of us while trying to bake 😂

I’m definitely a “don’t mix the Play-Doh colors” kind of mom 😅 but now I’m keeping that tradition alive in my own home with my kids… and sharing it with you!
