🍞 Oregon Trail Sourdough Class! 🥖 September 6; 1-330 PM

Just added this one to the farm calendar and invited a whole bunch of my farm friends! ❤️

And a little reminder: this class is on SUNDAY of Labor Day weekend! 🎉 Which means you can squeeze in a little sourdough fun before your BBQ, family plans, or that dreaded Sunday-evening “oh crap, tomorrow is Monday” feeling. 😂. If you're lucky - you are OFF work on Monday!

Come hang out at the farm, learn how to make sourdough, and leave with something delicious to bake at home!

🍞✨ MEET YOUR Oregon Trail Sourdough INSTRUCTOR! ✨🍞

We’re excited to introduce you to Shannon Wagner (Asbury) of Dough Mamas CLE ! 🥖❤️

Shannon runs her own micro-bakery right here in Olmsted Township alongside her fellow Dough Mama Tori, and she knows her way around some seriously good sourdough!

Shannon will be joining us Sunday afternoon, September 6th, for our Oregon Trail Sourdough Class at the farm.

This is a demonstration-style class, so you’ll be able to sit back, watch Shannon work her sourdough magic, ask questions, and learn the tips and techniques that make sourdough baking a whole lot less intimidating.

If you’ve ever wanted to understand why your sourdough does what it does—or just want to learn from someone who bakes it professionally—this is a class you won’t want to miss! 🍞✨

We got to spend the day with the wonderful Natalie Herbick from New Day Cleveland ❤️

🥖 DID YOU KNOW? Your sourdough support doesn’t end when class does! 🥖

One of the things we really want you to know about the Oregon Trail Sourdough Class is that you’re not on your own once you leave the farm. ❤️

We have an after-class support group where you can ask questions, share your sourdough wins (and those “WHAT ON EARTH HAPPENED TO MY DOUGH?!” moments 😂), troubleshoot recipes, and get encouragement as you keep practicing at home.

And honestly, even if you can’t make it to the class on September 6th, we’d still love for you to join the group and take a look around! You may find some helpful information, inspiration, and a community of people learning right alongside you.

We truly want you to SUCCEED with sourdough, not just come to a class, make a loaf, and then stare at your starter three weeks later wondering what went wrong. 😂

Consider the support group an extra little piece of the class — because we’re rooting for you long after you leave the farm! 🥖❤️

Any bakes that happen before our next market on 9/12 will be for enjoyment ONLY! 🤣

If we're being honest... August 2026 got us a little crispy over here, so we're taking the next couple weeks off to recover (from baking the most that we've baked in a single month ever!), regroup, and spend some time with our families to end the summer.

We are forever grateful for all of you and consider ourselves so incredibly lucky that we get to bake for this amazing community and call it work.

See you at the Crocker Park market on 9/12! 💕
